“The tour guide, Pablo, was amazing. He was funny, engaging, knowledgable, charismatic and smart. He had great patience with some members of the group who were making things harder to hear than they needed to be and helped keep everyone to time. Both Antwerp and Ghent were beautiful. I would recommend this tour to anyone, especially if they get Pablo as their guide.”

“My only regret is that the day trip was too short to allow me to do a boat tour, and visit the historical buildings, churches, and parks. I loved walking the town and eating an outdoor lunch of local dishes ( the mussels with frites were sooo fresh and perfectly steamed). Afterwards, definitely enjoy freshly made waffles, with chocolate sauce, of course. A beautiful day trip, just too short.”

“This is an excellent full day tour. I would recommend this any war history buff. The guide was very knowledgeable and went beyond in what was in the itinerary. If you start the tour from Brussels, be prepared for at least 12 hour tour but worth every minute.”

We enjoyed a lovely ploughman’s lunch included in our tour and our highlights were Tyne Cot Cemetery and the last post ceremony at Menin Gates. “Mackie was excellent driver and very nice guide. Bruges was more touristy than expected but Ghent was surprisingly beautiful and less crowded. Boat trip in Ghent was great. I would have liked a more in depth knowledge of each place.”
